When ABC Site Services Pty Ltd needed a better alternative to traditional lead seals and crimp sealing tools for their business they turned to Tamper Evident.
They’d been using lead seals for some time but now needed a solution that didn’t require extensive customisation or a unique tool to secure their calibrated valves and meters. With multiple employees used to inspect and calibrate their equipment, the cost of purchasing multiple tools was prohibitive. And the traditional lead seals were time consuming and difficult to apply and remove..
Our client also wanted a seal with a unique numbering system, so they could track every seal back to employees and job numbers quickly and easily.
Tamper Evident’s experts recommended the Twist Lock Meter Seal to provide ABC Site Services Pty Ltd with a quicker, hassle-free way to tamper-proof their equipment.
The Twist Lock Meter Seal is simpler to use because it delivers a two part sealing system comprising of a 1.1mm nylon coated galvanized wire and a self-sealing, uniquely numbered locking body for simplified recording against job numbers.
It can also be applied easily by hand – once the wire is fed through the anchor point and back into the locking body, the Twist Lock Meter Seal’s twisting mechanism locks instantly.
This makes it impossible to remove without cutting the wire or breaking the polycarbonate body.
By removing the requirement for a sealing tool, ABC Site Services Pty Ltd has saved significant costs where multiple employees are used to calibrate valves and meters.
The Twist Lock Meter Seal also lets them allocate smaller seal lots to each employee, increasing traceability and security.
